Honest answers

What happens to my vault when I'm gone?
Your designated family members receive access automatically. The vault stays open — no one needs to make any payments, log in to manage anything, or deal with paperwork. Your moments are simply there, waiting for the people you left them for.
Is everything private?
Yes, completely. Your vault is encrypted with AES-256 — the same standard used by banks. We cannot read your messages. No one can. Only the people you explicitly name have access, and only when you choose.
Can I schedule messages for dates years from now?
Yes — that's one of the most meaningful things Solace Life does. Record a message today and schedule it to arrive on a birthday five years away, a graduation you may not be there for, or just a random Tuesday when someone might need to hear your voice. There's no expiration. Your words arrive exactly when you set them to.
Why only 100 founding members?
We want a small group of real people who believe in this early. Founding members help us shape what Solace Life becomes, and they hold us accountable to building something worthy of the moments they're trusting us with. That kind of relationship isn't possible at scale — so we're keeping it small on purpose.
What if Solace Life ever shuts down?
We give you at least 90 days notice. You can export every moment — voice, video, written, and photos — in a format you keep forever. We will never hold your family's moments hostage. It's in writing in our terms of service.
